Yibal Khuff Off-Plot Project – PDO

One of the largest projects in PDO’s recent history, the Yibal Khuff project involved constructing 47 well sites, pipelines, a Gas Turbine Generator power plant, substations, overhead power lines, control rooms, and security systems.

Introduction

Spanning an area of 1.68km², the Yibal Khuff Project (YKP) is the secondlargest and most technically complex project in PDO's history. Located approximately 350 kilometers southwest of Muscat, the facility can deliver 6.1 MSCMD of gas, around 21,900 BPD of oil, and 235 TPD of Sulphur. YKP holds high strategic value in meeting Oman’s growing medium and long-term oil and gas demands and reducing PDO's net nonassociated gas import.
